Where did the idea for Like a Sister come from? We sold a proposal in July 2020 and it’s been out since March. ![]() So, I had a career reset and got the idea for Like a Sister. And then, Midnight Ink closed while I was working on the third book in the series in 2018. Once it got published, it was great because it won all these awards. Supposedly there's not that much going on in the episodes following the pilot, but they are well shot and well written. It doesnt give away too much, keeps you mostly on the edge of the seat. The story arc seems interesting and well planed. She alone is worth seeing the show, and that's just a start. Her delivery of a whole scope of emotions and reactions to events unfolding is way better than I would have previously given her credit for.
